Hello all,

My bluestar wrasse is having trouble finding food, she's eating but it looks like it has to fall right in front of her or she can't see it almost.
Are there any infections that can cause this?

Other fish (Royal Gramma and Clown) are doing fine and eating. Had her for about 2 years now. 3 days ago she was eating fine and finding the food no problem.

She's going around the rocks eating the fish eggs I just put in, so I know she's hungry. She just can't seem to see it in the water column

Are the eyes crystalized or cloudy/milky ?
If not, could be flukes but you would see dots on the eyes.
Can you provide a couplke of pics under white lighting?

Approach the fish SLOWLY with a net. If it quicklt retreats, it can likely see- if not, we have to further investigate

I might try something like the net - and something more narrow - like a knitting needle or something long and narrow

No they look fine, no dots or color changes. I tossed in some blood worms and she had better luck finding those while swimming. She saw the net immediately so I'm thinking it's a bad feeding response.
