BNC extension for Apex ph probe

Would this be good to use for an Apex pH Probe? I need about a good 8-10 feet to go to a second tank.

I haven't tried it myself, but I have seen people posting on the Neptune Support forums that they had success using a BNC extension cable. Keep the total length as short as possible, and recalibrate the probe after adding the extension.

Ah hadn’t thought it may need recalibration. I’ll keep that in mind, calibration fluid is cheap.

Did you add the extension and if so did it work? I have a 6' extension I would like to use if so.

Yea it work with no issues after recalibration it.

I used the 10ft just to have that little bit more to round corners and not be pulled tight.
