My old 40 breeder crashed after a power outage in the summer. never could get it to stablize after that then I left my Top off on for nearly 9 hours and came home to a dead freshwater tank with the only remaining inhabitants that survived the power outage. So Here is my new build. it is a 60 cube, with my sump plumbed to the basement.

So sorry about your 40:( but I am in love with the stand! I wish I had built my own in stead of using the boring old black marineland stand for my cube, but I was in a hurry to switch everything over. Also do you have a persian? I noticed a white puff ball that looks like it came from my house haha:D

I picked the tank and stand up on Craigslist and used the marineland stand but just re skinned it with wood. And that puff ball is from my malamute she drops them all over the house lol

Ah now that's a good idea! I may have to steal it:) I love malamutes! But I think I will stick to one shedding machine at a time lol. What color stain did you use? I just love how it turned out!

Your new stand is looking good! I as well like the finish,it lets the natural grains of the wood shine through.

Nice!
