If you like books, then here's the place to be! Depending how this group goes... Maybe we can have a monthly read and review section.

I'm continuing the Scot Harvath series by Brad Thor and I can't say enough about it. It's a thriller and I'm constantly at the edge of my seat. I recently finished foreign agent and now I'm reading lions of lucerne. Didn't realize this was a series until halfway through foreign agent... But I'm going to try read all the books in the series at some point.

I've taken an interest in indie books.. I feel they're a lot more creative and I feel I'm 'supporting small business'. I've read a few, some I've really enjoyed and some not so much.

Unfortunately I only read a couple of authors, Stephen King and Clive Barker. I like that genre of books....I have grown so accustomed to their writing styles that I cannot get into any books written by other authors with only a few exceptions.

I hear that, sometimes I have to force myself to start certain books. Somethings I regret it, sometimes I'm glad I did

I'm currently reading Climate Change the Facts 2017, by several scientist participants.

It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but for me, it is a gateway to a reality one will never discover unless one is willing to probe the alternate dimension of information that exists beyond the world of the seemingly unquestionably correct social construct.

Yeah, I have forced myself to read others also...like you said, sometimes it works, usually it doesn't lol. I wanted so bad to like Dean Koontz because it is the same genre and he has a million books but I just could not get into his his writing style. Then again, I did find Dan Simmons who wrote Carrion Comfort...one of the best "horror" books of all time :)

I'm not much of a fan of non fiction, but I've always been interested in climate change. I may have to check it out.. Thanks!

I pretty much only read non fiction, usually to learn about something.

Although I've read a few fiction novels I usually get a movie to fulfill that need ;Nailbiting

Scifi nerd here, pretty much like to read anything from the Golden age of science fiction.
Asimov and Heinlein are my favorites, but will pick up anything from their era.
Also a big Kurt Vonnegut fan.

Yup.. Boo is right! Right now I had just finished a sci fi that's the first part of a new series, now I'm trying to find another one to read! I wish the second book in the series was finished... Hopefully it'll come out soon

If you haven't read Asimovs Foundation series, I recommend it!
