I've seen some like yours once or twice near me for about $300 lowest

Those aren't my pictures. But although these Rhodactis are popular and still sell for truly ridiculous money, most Rhodactis species can develop highly inflated vesicles and are very abundant now. But this seems to be the trend for overhyped corals

Lol my bad, I didn't scroll up far enough to see who's pics they were. True, I'm hoping one of mine will sprout some bubbles soon haha

No worries. The phenomenon has only been seen in the wild with "shallow water" Rhodactis sp. But there's a lot of variables that will make them develop it in aquariums. Just give it time.

What type of lighting are you using? Any particular additives?

I have all types of shrooms, but my OG hasn’t ever really looked happy like yours. My godspawn, sunkist, reef koi, electus, jawbreakers, rics, and other rhodis all happy and reproduce, but not the OG......?

I honestly don’t know what I’m doing right.

My tank is a 24g mix reef with SPS on top, Zoas on the bottom right, shrooms to the bottom left and LPS tucked under shadowy parts. Its lighted by an AI hydra 26. Flow with a single MP 10 in the back. Sump is standard with skimmer, filter sock, macro algae, carbon and old frag plugs to increase surface area.

Very cool, I just wonder how long the hotness of this coral will last...
