Bounce candy cane? :)

So my blue candy cane coral has always been doing really well, but in the last 3 months it started to develop this huge bubble on both sides of the colony, left and right. It appears as a few heads is joined and puffed af, and it bounces with the flow.Photos below:

I am not concerned, since it grows, expands and eats normally. Just curious as to what could cause this?
 
Interesting, I've never seen anything like that. Ya I agree, if the coral looks happy I wouldn't worry about it. Is it part of the coral flesh or possibly some kind of sponge that's growing on the coral? If the former then I'd frag it up, call it them ultra mega glowing zues bounce canes and sell them for $800 a head! ;)

I've never seen it before either, it is weird but kinda cool.
Imma continue growing it like that and keep it for now, maybe it becomes the next "hot" coral:)
