it looks different than a regular acan to me is this a bower?

It is not even a Micromussa.
It is very clear that it is typical Acan lord.
Believe me.
I have almost 50 Acans in several types...lord..Micromussa..Bower..etc..

Bowerbankis are also no longer Acans they are Homophyllia. I do agree the piece in question is a regular lord.

I thought Scolys were homophyllia? Or is homophyllia just a broader group of corals that they are both a part of?
