Just added a brain coral, what’s best for it placement on the sand or on a small cut pvc pipe acting like a stand. image.jpg

This location often best. Feed mysis shrimp 2-3X per week and assure the coral due to location doesnt get much sediment on it which it can expel but can impose stress. Its a beautiful piece and size

I keep mine on the sand as well. About 90-100 par with gentle flow.

Added this brain early August, yesterday after a water change and hooking my skimmer back up. Skimmer fitting was broke for a while

Just trying to see if anyone is ever saved this from getting worse or what could cause it. Happy and looking great for a year. Also looks completely normal when like cycles on.

Could be
High phosphates
Nutrient deficiency
Too high of flow

Feed meaty food soaked in Restor
Ensure low flow not constantly hitting from one direction
Low par
Check parameters and keep stable

Thank you, going to check parameters tonight. Also never used restor will definitely look into that. Thanks again.

You’re welcome. It’s a LPS recovery product for bleaching and damage/stress from fragging, but overall it is good for all sorts of LPS issues
