@Fin - she's beautiful!

My grandfather had 4, maybe 5 strokes and lived to the age of 92. Put salt on everything he ate. My aunt snuck a salt shaker into the rehabilitation facility after one of his strokes. He was already 90, put salt on everything he ate since the 30s and, he was 90... if he wanted salt, we figured we'd let him have it.

He slept about 6 hours a night if he forced himself to if I remember.

I don't believe for a second sodium has a thing to do with it. Sorry folks, but, nope I don't.

Mine was stress, smoking and super elevated calcium. I have always had perfect blood pressure and low cholesterol. I now have high blood pressure caused by the stroke and zero cholesterol.

Could be worse. You could be @Sarah24! Sorry you had a rough day. Hopefully today will be better. When you get home today, break out the VS and heels and clean a pump! All better. :)
Don't knock it til ya try it ! Lol.

My dad had a major ha back in may. 5 bypasses and his bp and cholesterol was good. Doc saint it wasn't his diet but put him on a special diet anyway. He follows it sometimes. But mostly when my step mom is watching or is cooking .

About the only good thing about this is if you're an "hourly" employee!
Absolutely hourly... my overtime rate would make most people sick. You couldn't get my to take a salary job. Operators make more money than 90% of the salaried office jobs over there.

I went salary about 10 months ago and I love it. My first salary check was a little smaller than last hourly because of the overtime, but I still wouldn't change it. I like just doing my job, if it takes 40 hours one week or 70 the next I'm ok with it. I like not worrying about my hours and just doing my job, and taking a weeks vacation and not messing up a check. I know where you are coming from, I worked hourly for the first 16 years of my career working 60-70 hours a week.

Well all caught up on the best thread so off to work. When I come in for lunch there will be another hour of reading for me to catch up on! Have a great day everyone!

Have a wonderful day, Lowell!

I like being salaried nonexempt.

After having been on call for 18 years (besides layoffs) I am done with putting in excessive hours.

All of that time I was salaried exempt. Sam pay, as many hours as they could work me. UGH!

Now, if it goes over 40... OT! (It's not 1.5x but it's better than nothing)

Don't knock it til ya try it ! Lol.

I might give this a try as I know VS carries my size because I've been in there and have seen everything they carry. However, I'm going to have a heck of a time finding size 14/15 stiletto heels!:eek::eek:

I'm played of commission. Both good and bad

Used to do it. Made a ton of money that way. Also almost starved to death. LOL!!!
