Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

People will just steal anything now days. I'm willing to bet it has to do with a pill addiction. Please don't get me started with the FDA. Lab rats showed the same addiction...
People will do some crazy stuff over their pill addiction. This perfect storm of pain meds to heroin has got to be addressed in a better way than handing out narcan. It's doing to middle/ upper middle class neighborhoods what crack did to blue collar and lower class neighborhoods. Its destroying families and causing generational baggage. Just one ex-addicts opinion. Sorry for the rant. Lol

In my son's school, 68% of the kids are being cared for by someone other than a parent.

Narcan is actually propagating it by kids “edging” they get the narcan (without prescription) and a buddy and purposefully overdose trusting the buddy will narcan them back from the “edge”. Yet it became the”sixth” vital sign and another reason to sue doctors if they didn’t treat someone’s pain. I haven’t actually written a script for an opiate or any other controlled substance in over 10 yrs and I do plenty of procedures that many would consider painful. Lots of ways to treat pain. Doctors shouldn’t be robots letting themselves be programmed by the FDA or any other entity. It’s the called the art of medicine otherwise just let Watson the computer input symptoms and “he” can dictate treatment.

While the FDA does program, to be sure, they're merely amateurs when standing beside insurance companies and big pharma.

Ok back to the original topic byline and some aquarium question. While in Ohio I ran into a former MED student of mine. He was big into the hobby but with the increase in responsibility graduating and residency and a leak and task down of his large bow front some months back wants to give me his last set up. I use to get coral off of him when I had my 29biocube running hard.
He has: a 14 biocube he wants to give me the whole set up. Coral and all. Maybe if I don’t use the tank I can give it to @dantimdad for his new venture for the veterans.

....probably 100+ heads of Duncan’s, 6-7” green toadstools, and a bunch of others

The only caveat is he said he has some aiptasia and hasn’t had the time to take care of it..

So ???? QT it in their own tank with a file fish and peppermint shrimp this worked for me once in a nano I had.

Or is there a dip? Or a new tank and treat? I really don’t want to introduce anything into my WaterBox 230.

True of course but big pharma has regulatory protections and requirements that allow them to to do what they are doing. It’s disgusting really!
In the end, I still think it comes down to a doctor problem. Don’t allow direct to consumer advertising and all the other Mumbo jumbo dictate your practice of medicine ...

Problem is heroin is cheaper than many of the prescription opiates so in areas where they have been successful in changing prescribing practices they have found an increase in heroin use and over dose.

Happy Mother’s Day @Katrina71 :)

I would keep the contents separate and try filefish, peppermints, or berghia.

Thats aweful. I see loads of drug use in my job. Kids just grow up with it. Dcfs in our state is horrible. Several kids have died under their supervision.
