Loki going for a very long walk. 3.8 miles. Ok not that long but with an extra five pounds it was. At the end he was feeling it.
Right now it's like he never went a walk.

Fence in your yard and let him chase squirrels all day? That dog is built for the Iditarod!

My dog would be worn out just walking 3.8 miles... no he's not fat, actually in good shape. He's just really stocky. 12" tall and 23lbs. Big chest, short legs. Good for digging holes ;Facepalm

I got emails form Comcast saying illegal music downloads to my IP address were occurring. They know who's doing what.

I would but he knows how to climb fences. We take him to the dog park with 9ft fences. He doesn't try climb those.

Neo underestimates himself, which is good. He could easily jump over the fence at our neighborhood dog park, but has never tried :)

Dad! You see all those holes in the backyard!!? It wasn’t me dad...but do you see them?!
He's good about digging holes... he's really obedient, listens to everything I tell him to do and doesn't want to be outside unless I'm outside... oddly enough he doesn't want to be inside unless I'm inside also. Little guy is definitely attached to me, so much so when I leave he gets separation anxiety and destroys something. Good thing I crate trained him early and all I have to do is say crate and he goes in without a fuss.

However, he is really good at catching small furry mammals and ripping the squeaker out of them. I rescued this one from certain exploratory surgery sans anesthesia a few years ago. Others were not so lucky. I found them scattered about here and there, no squeakers to be found. This one had a very operational squeaker installed that alerted me to the happenings that were about to go down in the back yard.

That’s a fierce predator you’ve got there!

I’ve been able to teach Neo how to count to three, open and close the fridge, walk beside me off leash, recycle water bottles, put his toys away, and all sorts of “tricks”...cover his eyes, roll over, shake hands, etc.

but if he sees a squirrel...oh boy.
