Just set up the apex and the pH probe read 7.8. Calibrated following instructions on fusion and pH has read 10 for the last 40 minutes. Any ideas?

If you just put the probe in your tank, give it at least a few days and then attempt recalibration, using manual rather than automatic. Give the probe a long time, at least a few minutes, to come to equilibrium at pH 7 and then pH 10. The standard solutions should also be at tank temperature if possible.

Did you use both calibration fluids? The high one and then the low one? Do you have temp compensation on? Did you float the baggies in tank water before?

I used the 2 solutions it came with, 7.0 and 10.0. I don't think i turned temp compensation on and didnt float the packets but why would that cause pH to read 10? Wouldn't that just make the readings slightly off?
