Hello,
Yesterday I bought this Indonesian blue tip frag from the lfs, and noticed that it has a baby sprouting out the side. I was wondering if there’s any special requirements for a developing head, or if there’s any info I should know about. What is the growth rate/color development? Also, it’s pretty shaded by the main head. Is that bad for it, or should it be okay?

Thanks. Around when should I start seeing some color? Right now it’s just transparent with blue tips.

I honestly don’t know. The frogspawn that I had that gave off babies like that had very little color too but they died shortly after because the bigger head was blocking light.

Seeing the torch tentacles can reach the light. Should help. I'm not so sure if the mouth needs the light most. Do target feed.
Torches are greedy for food. Should help the bud.
