Hi everyone ! I’be been thinking of trying to breed some Banggai cardinals but I need some advice:
-Setup for growout tank
-How to choose a male/female pair
-What I’m going to feed the babies
-Any other tips or pieces of advice that you may have

-A grow out tank can be as simple as a 10 gallon with a heater and a HOB or as elaborate as a full on rack system.
-Best way to get a pair is to buy 3 or more from two different stores(an attempt to prevent inbreeding) for a total of at least 6 fish and let two pair up then return the rest.
-The babies will eat freshly hatched brine shrimp you will have to have on a schedule of being freshly hatched every morning and if they're more than 6 hours old I feed them some selcon(a couple drops).
