Hi! I have been breeding freshwater fish for some time now and I want to switch three of my 15 gallon tanks to saltwater. I don’t know the equipment I need, I know that a sump system is the best way but I cannot afford one at this time. I would like if someone told me what I need to get my breeding tanks cycling?

This is a great book on breeding of clownfishes. Much of the information can be applied to other species as well.

If you can't afford a sump, I would recommend waiting on going salt. Not just because of the sump, but because of the staggering cost of keeping salt in general.

I have that book and successfully bred Tomato clownfish about 5 years ago. Its a lot of work but I still have one of the spawn from that endeavor.
