This is a new one for me. Seen quite a few critters but I noticed these yellow spots on some of my Torches recently but now just noticing they’re alive while one was taking a poop. They move like copepods and i see regular pods along side with them. But what the he’ll are these bright yellow ones. They’re are almost fluorescent. Any idea? Just bright yellow pods??? Wandering if i should dip.

I do not like that pods have the same florescent color of the coral, they may be eating it.

Just an update for anyone. They’re torch eating bugs. They’re eating the tentacles and turning the color of them. I’m ordering bayer (bioactive) insect killer. Same as using interceptor and going to do dips on them as they’re the only coral in my tank with them on it. Trying to avoid dosing the entire tank. If i have to i will at some point and move my shrimps and herms into another tank during treatment.

Don't put Bayer in your tank. Use it as a dip only. I don't think interceptor and bayer are the same thing. interceptor is a dewormer, I believe. Bayer is an insect killer.

Appreciate that. I won’t do the entire tank with the bayer just dip. But if i have to get my hands on interceptor and do the entire tank i will.
