TLDR...are these Tigers or clown larvae? Vids below

Stupid hateful clownfish. Why do we love them so? Anyway my basic clownfish pair recently go put in a tank of their own due to bullying other fish.

We gave them a pot while we were at it since they had been acting broody. Does that word work for fish or just hens?

Off course they laid eggs and I had not noticed until they looked at least 7 days old and there was little time to prepare.

Not enough time to get live rotifers. To much $$$ for me to get the Reef Nutrition kit. Plus probably not enough time to get it here. Bought some frozen rotifers and some pods as someone had mentioned that baby copepods could work in a pinch maybe. I could go on...

But anyway....after tank was set up and pot moved to it, I added the only pods I could find, Tiggers. Plus phytofeast and the frozen rotifers.

The next morning....hatch!

Or at least I thought so. They are so tiny and Tigger pods are big.

I was certain these were the fish larvae. But after coming home from work, I'm not so sure. The dang rotifers and phyto make it hard to see, even using my phone to magnify.

I was certain it was babies yesterday morning, but now I think I just have a nice pod culture.

I definitely see some pods for sure in this vid.

I knew this attempt would likely fail but it's always interesting to try something new in this hobby.

Right now I'm having trouble keeping the ammonia down. Using AmGuard and doing water changes using a filter from the baby brine shrimp hatchery I have to exclude whatever I have. Tedious.
