This is a very nice and high quality, congratulations.
Size wise, this one is actually a tad smaller than the stock Red Sea sump... a little less than a 2 gallon difference. Sure, I could of had them make a full custom one to fill the space in the Red Sea cabinet a little more. But honestly I like that there's a tad bit of space up front and on the sides. And a full custom one would of been a substantial price increase.
Thank you! I purchased the pipe from @Bulk Reef Supply and the fittings from Aquarium Speciality. The gate valves and other schedule 80 fittings I snagged from PVCfittingsonline.comFollowing. Your design and attention to detail is just awesome! Where did you source the colored PVC and fittings?
I have tossed around the idea of tinted acrylic doors etc. Because once the new control center is done, this thing is going to look insane. I will definitely be taking the doors off for a master image of the entire tank/stand.That sump looks fantastic! Time to add a window to the stand doors so this is visible at all times, or even better remove the doors from the stand! I must have missed it are you running 2 filters socks in that sump?
