Got a new Duncan last night.

Looking great Bronc! Did all the rock come from your old system?

Yes, that was all base rock that was left over when I gave everything away. Once I had a change of heart, I setup my QT tank and moved it all there to keep it alive and cycled.

I’ve gotten a ton of my old coral back and bought some new coral last weekend. I also bought a PolypLab lens kit from Mark Levinson (and he was nice enough to give me a ton of tips on how to use it!). I’ve got a few more things to change, then I’ll be taking a bunch of pics of the updated tank.

Can't wait to see the pics!

This system working better for you than the old one?

Yes, it really is. Having it in my office where I can look at it all day is sooo much better!

Today's update

Wow, great tank.
The coral placement is outstanding and the movement of the LPS really gives it motion.
Nice job!

Thank you so much!

Beautiful tank ! I have the Nuvo 40 as well. Is the return the only flow you have in the tank? I have two MP10's, one on each side and I can barely turn them up to 30% without the water movement being too much.

Thank you! Nope, and I should have mentioned it before. I bought a Icecap Gyre 3K about a month ago. I’m running it sideways, in Gyre mode at about 60%. I love it!

Very nice tank! Can’t wait to see some more pics. In the April 24th post pic #2, what is that?

Also, if you get into photography let me know. I can’t seem to get decent pictures with my iPhone, even using Camera + pro.

Honestly, I’m not sure what kind of acro it was. It died pretty quickly.
