Bronc's 75g Reef

The tank is full and the cycle begins! It should go fast, as I used live sand, live rock and bacteria!

Congrats!

Might need to tell your fish to cut back on the smoking... looks a bit cloudy! :p

Yeah, that Caribsea Arag-Alive Sand really makes it cloudy. I wish I would have rinsed it first, but that would have gotten rid of the bacteria. As it is, I'll be changing filter socks daily and keeping it stirred up so that I can get rid of the dust.

It'll be clear in the morning either way. :)

I added the little packets that came with mine and it cleared up in a few hours. Of course, it gets cloudy if I vacuum my tank now.... Probably should have done what you are doing.

Tank is cycled and I bought a cleanup crew and a Coral Beauty and started moving some of my corals over. I'll move the rest sometime between tomorrow and Sunday.

Oh I love coral beauties! The tank is looking great Bronc. I'm looking forward to see where it ends up.

I was able to move everything over to the 75g tank today! Still have to add the 2nd wavemaker, fine tune some placements and mount the stuff on the frag rack, but I'm pretty happy. The pic isn't very good since the tank has a TON of micro-bubbles right now but hopefully those will be cleared up in the morning.

Looks great bronc... congrats!

It really does look good. How's that angle doing?
So far, so good. He's pretty shy so far, so he loves all of the tunnels thru the rock work where he can swim protected. I'm sure he'll relax soon.

Welcome glad to see a fellow 75 . I have 2 just getting my corals in one the other fowlr. I enjoy seeing everything went well with the transfer

Looking good sir!

I'm impressed! That really turned out great!

I might even cry a bit when it starts going through its ugly phase. :(

Thanks! I'm hoping that it won't, since I've added so much bacteria and Vibrant. If it does, then my clean up crew will earn their keep. :)
