Hello, a pair of clowns got brook in my main display after being in quarantine for a month (copper and general cure) Once i introduced them to the main display a few days later one black storm clown looked grey and had a lesion on body! I took it back to the qt but died the following day! The other clown looked fine but 2 weeks later he also showed symptoms of brook, laying on sand bed lethargic and not eating, no grey or white spots on him!
My question is i have a watchman goby in there who would be extremely hard to catch without braking down rock etc! Does the brook die off after a while if theres only 1 fish in main display? There is nothing else in main display.
Thanks for any advice, help.

Im not 100% sure but I believe Brook will remain in the tank along as there is a fish to host it. You would have to ask more knowledgeable people but maybe hypersalinity or a medication like reef ruby rally if you plan to leave the goby in there but im not sure if that works for brook.

Sorry for your trouble here!

Maybe one of the R2R Fish Medic guys can take a look for you.

Good luck!

If there’s any fish in the tank, it’s safe to assume that the disease is still present. Do you have any pictures/videos of the fish in the tank? A fallow period is going to be the best option for the display tank. Could you try a fish trap for the watchman?
