hey guys! 120 gallon tank has cycled, nitrates are 30ppm and we have got some brown alge on the rock, how big of water changes should I do to help get rid of that brown alge?

Oh ok, then cut them back to 6 hours on blues no whites to help mitigate the start of your tanks ugly phase. There will be multiple months of various types of algae as your tank goes through its new tank maturing process. Maintaining good water parameters, regular water changes with siphon and manual removal will help keep the ugly phase manageable. Along with a good cleaner crew.we do have corals in the tank

Would work if there are no corals in the tank. You can starve the algae but with corals you will need nutrients or they won't survive.Don't matter keep nutrients low won't have that problem,if hair Dino's shows up use uv
