this should be an easy one for you sps keepers.

i bought a sunset milli, but it has brown polyps. despite a tank move it still has the same skin color and continues to grow (one of my favorite corals for that hardiness), however the polyps were never meant to be brown, according to pictures of sunset milli at least. I think I even bought it like that months ago during a curbside pickup. brown polyps or not its still a nice frag.

but my question is, can brown polyps change color back to "normal", or is it just the skin that changes usually. i couldn't find much info on polyps specifically. maybe its not a sunset milli? (perils of curbside pickup)

thanks

Colors can always change. It is some magic combination of trace elements, lights, flow, and luck.

What are your levels of at? That may help people give some more specific advice on how to get the colors you are looking for.
