Browned out beachbum

Trying to figure out why my beachbum is browning out so bad. Its encrusting but looks horrible. My phos are not detected and other parameters are standard. I have 2-2't5s and 2 kessil 160we about 18" above and not sure what my par is but everything else around it seem to be doing fine. I hear they can do low light and high lighting so I have it in between. Idk help!

I experienced the same thing with a frag of mind trick montipora and WWC undata. Both browned out badly to the the point where I almost got rid of them. I let them be and they turned into very colorful colonies. I would let it grow and give it time. I kept them on the bottom in a 75 gallon with 150 watt halide 20k and 4 T5.

I keep mine up high. The BB was under radions but now in another tank under kessil 360’s

Higher nitrates will brown these out.
