Thank you for the quick response. That makes perfect sense. I was literally just sitting here, researching what bio plastics are made of, and how they work (again), just to try and figure out a logical reason to take them out. So, while I was contemplating with myself, I removed the reactor, placed the pellets in a jar with tank water in it, scrubbed the reactor pump, then put it all back together, and back in the sump it went. I'm glad you were here for a second opinion. This is day one with fluconozole, wish me lots of luck

Sounds good...Good luck with the treatment and keep us updated. :)

Well I just stop everything, water change and carbon. I have lost a millepora (i have 3 and polyp contraction is obvious) and a strawberry acro (rtn on both), not very happy. The rest of the corals are ok. [emoji17]bryo almost gone. All parameters are in check. Triton results next week.

We have had some people notice that skimmed right from the start they had a large amount of thicker white skimmate during the first few days of treatment.

I noticed this when I put my skimmer online at Day 5 -- It lasted 2 days, but the majority was cleaned out in about 24 hours.

Are you blind?
Back when he was originally posting the pictures there was slow progress in the beginning. Coming in later after all the photos are uploaded it's pretty easy to judge. Short answer: no. I'm not blind.

No offense, but you annoy the snot out of me. Yes, I have Bryopsis and yes I've tried numerous algae reduction strategies to no avail. The only thing that has worked for me is Fluconazole.

Sorry about that effect. ;)

I'm just trying to figure out how the need for repeat treatments add up to success? (That's not how antibiotics are supposed to be used.)

The treatment works, BTW. How is Bryopsis getting back into your tank repeatedly?

So something crazy happened last night. I went to feed my tank, and I saw a cave that was hidden by the Bryopsis for months. All of a sudden now there's no Bryopsis. It cleared out. Made me very happy. Looked at few other spots, and the tank looks lot cleaner. I was really amazed. GHA and dino still there, but these dying Bryopsis made a huge difference. Hopefully I can find a cure for dino now.

Been about a month dince double treatment, found a few sprigs underside of rock, not sure if it was hidden or just restarted. Will wait awhile before deciding to treat
