Bryopsis or other pest?

I have a few soft corals in quarantine. I damaged a torch and started getting brown jelly disease signs so I ran cipro for several days.

I've since added back carbon and did two 50% water changes because my New York Knicks (the injured one) started losing color.

The duncan and another coral seem a bit unhappy too.

Upon closer look the plugs have some brownish algae like fibers that are growing in quickly that might be irritating them?

I've never seen whatever this is. I may do another water change using display tank water to bring back beneficial bacteria but I'm mostly concerned with whatever is growing on the plugs right now...

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I guess they look light blue given my camera but to me light to dark brown. I scraped them off a few times during dips with a dental tool and they never grew back so quickly as this past 2 weeks.

I haven't tried and bryopsis or algae treatment. For now they'll stay in a ten gallon quarantine.

first few looks like hair algae and the second to the last picture looks like sponge? You might want to give some white light pictures as well, it will be easier to see the details and actual color.

Yeah, good call. Here are 3 more. Maaaybe green hair algae after all? Not sure what those thicker things are tho.

The water is basically pristine. Bare bottom. Some chrysophytes for sure those are a problem here but in 3 years I've yet to get hair algae in San Antonio like I did in San Diego.

Obviously would have come from my LFS this time.
