I have a cleaner shrimp and want to get a bta. With it eat the cleaner

My peppermint climb on my BTA and try to steal food from it - doesn't seem to bother them at all.

That being said, I keep it very well fed, so YMMV

I have a BTA and a cleaner shrimp and before my clown started hosting the anemone the cleaner shrimp would go right on top of the BTA and try and steal any food I gave it right from it's mouth. The BTA did not do anything to the cleaner.

Now that my clown is hosting my anemone the cleaner shrimp can't go anywhere near it without being chased away by the clown.

I to have a very large BTA and my tank is presently fallow following velvet I had no issues with the shrimp when the clowns where in there but when I went to feed my BTA the shrimp where on it.

What I do now is cut some tiny bits of mussel and get the shrimp munching on it at the other end of tank and I can then feed my BTA without it having its food taken and he gets to eat in peace.

To answer your question it will not eat a cleaner however if it's dieing or dead and falls into it then it probably will eat it.
