I bought a nice rainbow bubble tip anemone from a local reefer on Sunday and added it to my tank after acclimating (floated the bag for 20 min to temp acclimate, then drip acclimated until the volume of my tank water to old water was about 3:1, which took a little over an hour). That evening, it started to open up a bit and was almost fully open by morning. On Monday, around mid-afternoon, it started to move off the rock where I placed it and made its way to the back glass of the tank. The next day, it spent the whole day climbing up the tank glass until it reached the waterline. Since Tuesday, its been sitting there all the way at the top and my clowns started to host the nem (yay)! I didn't think much of it and let it be. I figured it would just keep moving on it's own, but now it's time for a water change and it hit me that I can't do a water change because the nem would be exposed while I drain out the water. Should I move it? Should I skip the water change and see if it moves?

tl;dr: New BTA likes the back glass at the surface/waterline. I need to do a water change but it would be out of the water while I drain the water out. What should I do?

Oh wow!
This! This is what I was looking for before posting! Thank you!

My water changes take less than 30 min. Sounds like it won’t be a problem at all.
