BTA shipping delay...4 days!! what will arrive? odds?

Anemones ship poorly to begin with. Add that to a 3 day shipping delay and a rock in the bag to squish and rip it up, then put into a new tank without sta le chemistry and biome... I'd be amazed to see it recover. Honestly I would have expected it to show of bleached. Surprised it still has strong colors

i don't have a hospital tank, i have put it in a 2 liter container with water from the display and a power head that keep water muving, the nem is inside a plastic pan (like the one for ricotta cheese) so it's safe from powerhead. what is wrong with that? should add areator?
The nem is likely going to need weeks to recover. That doesn't look like a long term solution. Do you have a heater in there?

no but i can put one or i could put it in the display tank and monitor it pretty much continuosly at least for the first 2/3 days

At least find a larger ‘tank’ minimally around 20L would be better as the water will get dirty very quickly with such a low volume. It needs very clean water to minimize risk of infection and allow it to recover. With just 2L the water will not stay clean enough for very long.

If the water gets cloudy or dirty looking you need to do a 100% water change. 100% water changes every day it continues to look ‘bad’ would be advisable.
