Bubble algae on clam

Hey guys,

I just picked up a really nice looking blue clam from my LFS really cheap because it had some aiptasia and a couple blubble algaes on it.

I figured I could scrub the side of the clam with a tooth brush to get rid the bubble algae. I was curious though, is there a chemical I can use to help rid the bubble algae that is also safe for the clam?

Bubble algae would just pop off. I use tweezers, don't squeeze them, just use the tip of one side of the tweezer and scrape it off. It'll come off as a complete bubble, or as a grouping if there is more than one. Bubble algae is really easy to remove if you have access to it.
