Bubble Magus Filter Roll Gen2

I upgraded to the Gen 2 a couple of months ago. I do prefer the build quality over the gen 1 but for some reason when the float switch is activated to advance the roll, it advances for too long. Too much clean material is being wasted. I don't see any adjustment for this. Anyone have any suggestions?

The timer seems to be longer before the auto shut off kicks in, only thing I can suggest is adjust the float.

Fwiw, I got a gen 2 as a xmas gift so I'm 6 months in now, its much better especially for the motor sizing.
