Having a hard time getting rid of the bubbles, all I run in my media chamber is filter floss, chemipure elite and bio balls.
I've tried aiming the return down, but I get that oily look on top of the water.
Any thoughts?

Hard to see the bubbles you're talking about or the direct cause in the photo. Is it due to a reaction from the media or pumps? Are they generated from the water returning? Could just raising the water level solve it?

The bubbles are along the front of glass and you can see them along the back as well, right near the return.
If I don't create movement on the surface I get that oily film built up.

you need surface agitation, thats important.

But can you take a pic of what exactly is causing the bubbles? A bubble diffuser might help, but need to understand your situation.

The excess surface agitation is causing the bubbles. The water should ripple, not be churning.

You only need flow over the surface, not so much it's causing bubbles. If you have an oily scum on the surface, you need better surface skimming.

If you get an oily film when you lower the return so there's no surface agitation it sounds to me like the water level in the filter is too high so you're not getting any sruface pull through the overflow wier.

I just pulled the cover and noticed this. I swapped out the filter floss and put in a fresh bag of ChemiPure Elite. I have one of those Intank Surface Skimmers I just installed, I noticed it lower the water level in AIO chamber and raised the water level in DT. Seems like the bubbles are slowly going away,
