A few pics of the nems in my tanks, as well as a close up of the anemone that i had ‘bred out’ some nice spotting on the tips, just split everytime the area that had the most spotting.

Can you see if it has purple on the tips?

Idk what the name is but I love this one.

Looks like a green bta!
The only nems they have “blue” (that I know of) are usually just transparent green and turn blue with your light.
That's all i've seen, but imagine a bright blue bta with like yellow and green

Dang. Sure this isn't a Colorado Sunburst? It looks like most pics that I've seen of them. But apparently I'm wrong? :-(

Rainbow bta

Doesn't look like rainbows that I've seen. This one is a gold colored (or orange?). Isn't the one in the background of my pic a rainbow?

Quad colour BTA

Doesn't really look like that picture either. Tips aren't red like that, but golden orange.

Can you see if it has purple on the tips?

Yeah, it looks like the very ends of the tips are purple (or maybe blue). Thanks,

Here are more pics of my nems. First, my Rainbow BTAs:
IMG_20200328_121933.jpg

And here's the new one - doesn't look anything like the rainbows or quad colors (you can see the rainbow in the background). The foot is also blueish/purple (rainbow's is white). The difference I see between this and other CSBs is the photo quality / saturation (I need a better cam), and the tips on mine look purple.

A couple more pics:

I have a red and a Black Widow too I can add for comparisons if that would help.

@kyley CSBs refer to a BTA that can definitively trace its lineage to Keys Island Aquarium. Elite Reef (ER) and Sang Lee CSBs are both from that KI line. In addition, there are a couple of identifying markers as well.

For sure isn't a CSB. Most high end nems have either a red, orange or green tip to the tentacle. It's a relatively nice morph but doesn't have the color saturation any high end nem has.

Actually I take it back. There is one nem that I've seen to have a electric blue color and that was the cc pink flamingo. That nem was one of the BEST nems I have ever seen.

But that anemone is literally a myth now. If I ever see one again I'd drop all the money I have on it.

Yeah, I definitely get the whole lineage thing. But if a nem is brought in from the ocean that is the same coloration, it's the same; just not by name... Maybe I'll call mine a Missouri Sunburst since we have Chicago and Colorado.

Eh, it looks every bit as nice as my (young) Chicago Sunburst, if not better. I haven't seen this gold coloration in a nem myself. Here's my Chicago:

Where did you get that chicago? On the Lines of the gold anemone, if the other anemones in the background are just normal RBTAs then you can tell that the gold anemone isn't that saturated with color. But my opinion means nothing unless you choose to take it.

From what I've seen and learned, if it has purple tips, its just a rainbow. Still a nice nem tho, no doubt about that.

I've noticed anemone saturation changing drastically based on water parameters. My Rainbows were darker in coloration before. But now they seem to fluoresce more... I could see the coloration getting better (or worse) in time in my tank just like most corals. Anyway, not the answer I was hoping for (not a true CSB), but I still think it's one heck of a nice nem, and unique.

The Chicago I got locally from a guy who's been breeding them for awhile (Larry Smith, who I've seen sell on here some). Same with my Black Widow. The Chicago had very little color when I got it, but it's starting to really color up now. Has a ways to go. He said they go through a lot of color phases.

From what I've seen and learned, if it has purple tips, its just a rainbow. Still a nice nem tho, no doubt about that.

Thanks. If it's a rainbow, it's nothing like the others I've seen though. Cheers,
--Kyle

He said they go through a lot of color phases.
Many people, myself mostly included, say that that's what most modern lemon drops are: yellow phase csb under some kessils , because many times under other lights they morph back to the natural orangey red color
