very nice. :)
Thank you! Still on the hunt for a true lemon, seems to be the unicorn for most of us!

very nice. :)
I have 3 Lemon Drops but in my tank they are turning more on the orange side as they grow. I haven't seen a LD that have been kept in captivity for a while and not do what mine are doing. They are awesome when you first get them and when they're somewhat deflated. Still very beautiful though. Good luck finding one. They are a must for an anemone collector. :)Thank you! There's a guy locally with one, he has had it well over a year, still highlighter yellow. He won't even entertain ridiculous offers for a split of it.
What lighting does he have? Really interesting to find what he's doing to keep that color. Any pics? I hope he kept pics of when he first got it. Always good to have comparison shots.
On that note, my LD in the pot just split this morning. It was a surprise to me as he was only 3-4" max. Guess this answers my question on how big do they have to be before splitting? Haha. Pretty exciting. :)
:hammer:Last I heard he was running DIY LED over the tank. Not sure if he was supplementing color with any other lighting.
So when does bidding start for the split? ;-)

man, awesome addition. :)I havent seen his tank in a LONG time, but others that I talk to have seen it and say its as yellow as the day he put it in the tank.
On another note, took a pic of another new addition, still in a critter keeper, lighting in shot is one each ATI Actinic 03 & Blue+ at about 50% dimmed.

(Oh, and you don't have to sell out of state, I'll drive out and pay you cash in person, local sale. LOL!)
man, awesome addition. :)
it's amazing how many color morphs of BTA's are out there. how big is your biggest one atm? and which one?
LoL about driving. I probably would be doing the same thing. I have family out there in Elgin so we're there at least twice a year to visit and play golf at Bowes Creek. if I get more split in the next coming months, I don't mind sharing with another fellow BTA collector. the more of us having different morphs, the better... esp for the environment. ;)
tank thread? would like to see a FTS with all the colorful BTA's. :bigsmile:Currently a white streak rose about 5-6". Largest was also a white streak rose that hit about 10" across the oral disc expanded. I had to get rid of that one when I went SPS cause it took up all the useable space.
I'd gladly trade sweet nems to spread the love when the time comes. I have no intention of propagating but I have a 20 long with feeder chromis for my frogfish, so when I get splits I will just be tossing them in that tank with rubble and use them for trading or for hobby cash.
I do want to try like you are doing and add a few more clowns to the tank, my pair are still very young, so I'm hoping adding a couple more babies there won't be any aggression, or at least minimal at first until they get comfortable with each other.
I have had these two for a coupple weeks! But they come from a guy who's 180 bow front has like 30! Ya I kno:/ I'm setting up a 30 x30 cube just for anemones!
wOw!! 180g of Sunburst. :)
Good luck with your nem tank. I'm sure it'll be a really nice build.
ThAnks hope will look as awesome as yours! I'll try and get a pic of my buddies 180!
