So my green BTA that I’ve had for 3.5 years split for the first time following a water change a week ago. One part looks completely normal but one part hasn’t fully inflated though the color looks fantastic. I did a rebuild and added more rock from another tank that was taken down and positioned the non inflated anemone in a different spot as I suspect my female clown may have been annoying it. Foot is sticking well and it appears to be on the move though it’s still almost completely deflated. I know anemones are weird especially when looking for their special spot and currently my clowns are paying attention to the original which is completely normal looking. Tank has been set up for 10+ years and no changes to parameters.

I’m guessing I should just let it be and wait for it to find it’s happy place, but wondering if there is anything else I should be doing.

You already answered with the best option. Leave it be if everything is ideal regarding water then it will be just fine in time.

Oh and congratulations ;)
