I’ve had this 29gallon since June and noticed these bubbles in silicone is this okay as the tank is still fairly new. I went back and looked at pictures from tank from August and the bubbles were there at that time.

I never like seeing bubbles in the silicone. do you know who the manufacture is? Do you know if there is any warranty on it, may be worth an email to the manufacture .Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in. I'm always super leery when I see this as I've had 2 tanks fail at the seam.

It is an imagitarium tank from PETCO budget build.

Can we get a better look at that seam bubble up at the top of this photo?

Were the tank and stand leveled prior to the initial filling with water?

—None of these bubbles look good, but that top one in particular looks like the seam’s hanging on by a thread!

How drastic would it be for my system to move into a new 29 gallon? They are only 50

It is a rimmed tank if that makes a difference and doesn’t appear to be any separation of glass or salt creep

Oof! That is indeed hanging on by a thread!! 20-25% of the structural joint is all that’s still there in the thinner spots!

It may be the lighting; but it appears that the interior fillet of silicone is clear, while the structural silicone joint is black… was this tank “resealed”?
