Im about to try on a 375 i just got. Im guessing the depth of the scratches is going to determine the extent of sanding, but id like to know also.

If i can get away with just buffing that would be great, but im thinking i might have to sand.

From what i have looked up hand sanding seems to work best. Depending on the depth of the scratches people start as low as 400 grit and move up 600, 800, 1000, 2000, and some go 3000 and higher.

Then a foam buffer on a drill with novus 3 then 2.

Ive seen people say they go up and down then side to side with the sandpaper rather than circles.
Also seen someone say they sanded too close to the corners and were having trouble buffing the corners.
