The sump will be 48X20X16

Bubble trap 4" section
Total of 4 - 4" filter socks 6" section
Skimmer 14" section
Double Sponge tower 4"
Return section 7"
Ato reservoir section will be 12X20X16

I personally wouldnt use sponge filters. They tend to get dirty quickly and prevent pods from traveling from sump to DT, as they cant pass through.

There will be no refugium so pods don't have a safe home. I'm just trying to have the clearest water as possible.

1. Overflow >Socks/cloth
2. Mechanical (skimmer, heater,reactors)
3. Biologocal Refugium (pods, macro, whatever else)
4. Return > pump (Ato, pump)
5. Reservoir .

Some of the the bubbles will go away over the baffles. You might as well add a refugium. Its a big sump, will have the room and you might regret it down the road. Even if you don't use it, you can just add your heaters and other equipment in it.

Edited the post above ^^
Problem with that will be I want to incorporate the ato in the sump section which will replace the fuge. My nitrates and phosphates are lower since I removed the fuge on my current tank. Too much detritus was collecting in the sump.

How do you plan on refilling the ato? I considered doing it until realizing how inconvenient it would compared to an ato on the side of the tank.
It's a really big tank and stand that's how my setup is now I have a 5g reservoir on the side of my sump which I refill with 5 gallon buckets. I use almost 5g per day. Would love to triple my capacity

I will have my apex 2016, calcium reactor, nyos 220 skimmer, jebao dct 15,000 and ATK in the sump. I have 8 power heads in my tank.

The sponge filter can go, you got socks to catch the bulk, and skimmer will pick up some organics. You can go a smaller micron sock if you REALLY want to clean the water but it just will be more maintenance. The bubble trap at the start would build up detris so that can go as well. Socks, mechanical, return and ato.

Do you know the positions of the return nozzles on the main tank? Incase power goes, sump should be big enough to hold excess water.
