4 mile run? wooa dude i was sweating like crazy running the 10 feet from the truck to the house

Haha, Yeah. I've cut back my runs because of the heat.

We went to the Dayton OH air show today and got burnt.

its funny cause i was complaining about it being 90 inside my house when my a/c broke but one of the DR.s i work with just finished the Badwater Death Valley 135 mile ultra marathon last week(30 hours of straight running), guess it could have been worse for me hahaha

if your A/C is having problems keeping up go outside and spray it with the hose! but use a gentle spray not a jet stream spray! it will wash the dirt and dust off the coils and cool the air, it will help the AC pull more heat out of your house and work better. you can go out and spray it for 5-10 min every hour and it can help drop the house a degree or 2. do not leave the water spraying on it constantly though! it will make your compressor freeze up and then you wont have any AC!

i live in a double wide, ive got central air and a window unit. we are working on 35+ straight days of over 100 degrees. it was 110-116 yesterday. and we have no shade on our little cracker box so the sun just roasts it. its gets up to about 84 in the house when its 110 out. but i turn the fan on under the lights and on the sump and i can keep my tank at 78. im in the process of building PVC pipe to put sprinklers on top of my house. our well water runs at about 45-55 degrees. putting the water on the house should help reduce the roof temp by 20-40 degrees, and in turn help keeping the inside of the house cool! sounds crazy but it works!!
