Buying issue

Hi all,

just wanting some advice here since it’s first time for me.

I bought and paid a fx150 gyres witch smart controller from zach_discus back in November 29. He said he would ship it out the next day. dec 3 he messaged saying he was busy and his wife would do for him tomorrow. That was the last time I heard from him. I messaged him 3 times after that to check whether he has shipped it out or not. I noticed he came up here once on December 6, but didn’t reply to my message.What should I do?
I really don’t mind to wait for a week or 2 or 3 but at least to let me know how long I need to wait. I also hope there is everything ok with him as well.
note: this is NOT negative feedback on him just need some advice what to do since it’s my first time happened.

OK, it's been 2 weeks since you ordered it. Although that isn't really a long time, like you, I would expect more from a seller. Especially just replies to questions about that is going on. It could be very innocent and perfectly understandable, say some big family situation. But then how hard is it for the seller to simple send a sentence or two to explain.

I'm not sure where you go from here. I'd keep trying for contact through messaging here or sending emails if you have his email address. If you paid via some service like PayPal, you could see what recourse you have to getting your money back.

I'd give it a bit more time, and more attempts at contact over the next week. If nothing works, a negative feedback report may be the best you can do. It depends on how much info you have about the seller.

I really don’t mind to wait as I said, but at least let me know when I will receive it. I got his email, however, every time you got a message or reply from someone on here, you will get that notification in your email as well. I will give him another week or so.

I hope you paid with PayPal goods and services.. You have a limited time frame so I would start the dispute now, paypal will act in your behalf and you will not have to attempt to contact the seller again yourself.

I would say in all likelihood you have been scammed, even if there is some kind of issue with the seller getting the item to the PO it doesn't take two weeks for someone to send an email. If he has had time to visit the forum he should have time to contact you.

I just looked into my paypal and apparently him and I have some transactions in the past. I don’t think he would scam me. I feel he has some personal issue and hate to make another promise after he broke 2. Bad judgment I would say. I will wait for his response.
