I know i've posted in the nano forum, but I wanted to put my tank up here on the members tank forum as well. This thread will be my main tank thread.
This is my first saltwater tank and it has been up for about 7 months. I run a koralia 1, a hydor flo, and a 100w heater. I really want to upgrade the lighting or supplement with led but lights are expensive and my pockets are really empty. I started collecting zoas but after zoa pox and colonies just melting away i switched my attention to mushrooms because theyre easy. And, my tank seems to thrive when the water is dirty so i only change the water once every 2 weeks now. Sometimes its just tap water sometimes ro/di from the lfs, but more times than not just tap water.
All pictures were taken with my canon point and shoot... so nothing spectacular
In the beginning... I wanted a fish tank... I only wanted to spend $200 boy was i wrong
Here she was in February....
Here she is as of today...
Today i purchased a rock with 8 yumas on it four which are babies. therock is large enough to maybe glue some of my orange yumas on it to start a yuma garden but we'll see
and it came with a huge hitchhiker snail
here are some of my other yumas
devil's armor palys i got a 5 polyp frag 2 weeks ago and already three baby heads are popping up
and in the back are my gold strike clavularia and ill be adding neon green cloves to my collection as well. And, if you look to the bottom theres a neon green baby yuma that i hope survives, but we'll see.
i think this is a rhodactis i picked up 2 days ago.
no clue what these are might be 2 palys and a bunch of zoas.
these superman shrooms reproduce like crazy for me and my first coral
