Looking to install lights in my cabinet under the tank that come on and off when the door opens and closes, I see people install these all the time but haven’t figured out what they are actually using.

Any recommendations?? I would prefer some type of LED strip or something.

I have an led light from lowes plugged into my apex energy bar. A Magnetic reed switch tells apex when the cabinet is open and it then turns on the light.

These are the ones I use as well. I love that it has the motion sensor and also plugs in. A lot of motion sensor led lights on Amazon were battery operated and I didn't like that. These don't have RGB, but I'm definitely ok with that.
