We had to get an additional cabinet built for all the stuff(I can post later) but def clean it up now before it becomes a monster sized ball of cables lol

It takes planning - plan what gear you intend to have, make sure cables are accessible (for changes & maintenance) and make sure it's all away from water.

This is a $100 Ikea box plus a shelve board from Home Depot. The power bars are behind the the mounting board which I can access by pulling on top mounted velcro tab (hanging down in pic)

What do you use to mount the power bars to the back?

They're actually bolted to the rear panel of the box. The panel that holds the Apex and other controls is basically a false panel roughly 6" forward of rear wall of the box.

Everytime I tried to do my cables up all neat and awesome.. a year later or whatever I had to fix or rip something out.

Just hide it, keep it out of harms way from water and humidity, and don't go much further then that.

A small matching box next to the aquarium would work. Cheap. Anything.

People love to show off cable management but never tell you the disasters of removing/adding/changing things when required. It never lasts long when many of us have tanks running for several years or longer.

This is exactly how it's staying for now lol
