Hi all this is my first build post in awhile. I’ve been out of the hobby for 10 years.

I need to thank Algae barn, Cade, and a few fellow reefers that helped the start of the build.

Here are the specs

Cade 1500 s2/p

free w purchase from algae barn summer special
120# Marco shelf rock, dry rock
60# Caribsea special grade live sand
16oz Nitrocycle
2 bottle fritz turbo start

Natural seawater from Half Moon Bay CA

2x mp40
Vectors m2
Inkbird
2x Aqua top 400w w controller
Tunze ato

On the way
-Clarisea 5000 don’t know how I’m going to plumb from metric to standard
-bubble magus curve 9 elite

Lighting
I have no clue. Reasons why I’m so indecisive:

-mounting options due to TV, cover on tank, just overall asthetic.

- love Kessil shimmer insure how to mount ap9x

- radion maybe 3 xr15 blue. Don’t really like the rail mount and don’t know how to mount w the cover.

-Neptune sky. Love the spread coverage but unsure about overall quality. No shimmer.

Will post pics in later threads.

Started the scape a couple of days after the delivery. Purchase emarco mortar, and the bsi products but only ended up using the BsI stuff. My girls were super happy to help separate the pieces.

She’s full. Installed powerheads, pump and heaters prior.
