Temp fence put up for Skeletor, he was SO excited to zoom around yesterday.

Tomorrow is tank moving day, I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver more resin so I can start making saltwater today to prep for it. Taking 75% ish of what's in there presently but will need a top off and counts as a good water change.

Oh, we got smart. We started using the empty packing boxes to build out the tank/bar area as a peninsula to see if it's too much of an obstruction in the house.

Thoughts? (We're still unpacking, the house is a wreck - sorry)

Didn't have enough empty boxes to fill in the empty space: that'll be bar as well. This is facing the end from the far side of the dining room table.

Walkway into the house is completely clear, and it's double door entry anyway....

Oh, and we built it out longer to allow for a cabinet on the back end as well.

My rock looks like garbage, I am fully aware. I have not seen this fish since the day I added it to the tank. It has doubled in size.

salt and sand here, as well as some buckets to mix in... just waiting on that rodi resin nonsense to show up

Ugh, Matt's working today - I'm at a standstill in what I can do. Craft room furniture is too heavy for me to be able to move it across the house myself and there's nothing I can unpack until that's in and/or the tank is moved tomorrow (not unpacking more of my office until then because I don't want everything to be in the way moving it in).

I changed the soil on all my plants and buttchugged them the other day when I moved them over here.

I can't start mixing water until the resin gets here.

Rodi resin finally arrived, starting some salt water.

Tds pre rodi was about 125 in Oldsmar. It's 334 straight from the well here. Curious what impact the softener at the inlaws makes, gonna take that with me to check there tomorrow during tank break down.

i was on a well up north tds over 400 ,changed cheap string cartridge about once a month
should be standard 3/4 thread fittings on unit "check" and reduce to what you need... :)
