Cade Chaos Grimoire

I wouldn't have found her even if I thought to look on the ground when I noticed she was missing, she was in a bin under a table about 5ft from the tank :loudly-crying-face:

So crispy. Keeping her. She has both eyes still and stands up on her own. I'll find a shelf for her in the meantime and I planned to set up a water themed oddity shelf after the move anyway, she'll go there.
Bummer ,how are you going to preserve ?
I did 3 coats of polyurethane on a pair of horses 33yrs ago ,still perfect...

I noticed a couple weeks ago that I didn't see my lantern basslet anywhere, and I posted last week that I thought she passed - I assumed CUC took care of her afterwards.

Well I wasn't entirely wrong. She did pass....

And was preserved beautifully. So... Yeah. No idea when that happened because I keep the jump screen on the tank most of the time.

My poor girl.
That both sucks, and is pretty cool.

The most important inhabitant says good morning & where's my ****** breakfast.

I keep popping this into the little divot above, and the hermit crabs keep knocking it down and turning it around. I really need to glue it, but it's growing over the sides of the plug and I don't want to glue actual coral. But it's happy regardless so whatever I guess....

Beautiful!

Pings are flowering again, this one already has a 2nd in the wings. She'll flower literally all season long.

Cleaned out the front succulent gardens today & took cuttings or pulled pups of everything out here for my assistant @ work. Still need to do the back gardens.

Frikin glochids through my shirt all over my stomach from collecting fruits & trimming the prickly pear and just barely brushing a paddle. Also, had one fall off the plant and bounce off the top of my foot so that's covered too  :loudly-crying-face:

Got most of them out but a few apparently broke off in the flesh so that's fun.

I'm thinking of your Betta.... Seriously my favorite fish you have. If they weren't so darn expense that'd be my choice for my new tank.

So nice. So, so nice.
They have gone up SO much in the last couple years

Lid ordered, working with toplids, super easy conversation and very friendly team. Looks like a 6-8wk leadtime & they're local which is pretty cool. Didn't go with the person who made the last lid for me, for... reasons...

Water tests happening, NOW.

(I've claimed I was going to do them a few times, actually doing them this time :) )

I’ve made tons of them and top lids are the ones I would buy if I didn’t know how to make them lol.. I seen a tank with top lids locally and it was super clean! Kracken is meh..

I had a kraken on my 4g, which was fine. Didn't need to be fancy. Worked perfect for the small tank.

I had a different brand for the cade 1200. I had some issues with a 2nd order I did with them and communication in general, and I don't really see them active anymore so I'm not sure they're still making lids.

So far toplids experience on day one was better with communication by a million %

I'm going need a full lid solution for the big tank if I'm going to add a ribbon in there. Took a look at toplids and Dangg. They are proud of those things ..

Everyone is so expensive :loudly-crying-face: they're actually priced better than the last company I worked with though. Base price is about the same but the last was without anything included - any cut outs or adjustments for light fixtures or feed doors were add-ons
