maybe one went bad and you got another wet side? or on warranty they sent you a new wet side?
IDK, I should still have the dry somewhere even if I got a replacement wet... I had 2 full mp40s at one point

Not crazy, remember i lost my leather jacket ? found yr and a half later... :upside-down-face:

hahaha oh yeah, hmm, hopefully I find it soon...

what else are you missing fish tank related ?... :thinking-face: ;)

Merry Christmas all. Hubby got me a new mp40 wetside & 2 Greyhound statues. It's a good day.

(They're identical)

OKAY, so yes... there's possibly an extra wet side floating around somewhere I guess. But still gotta find the other full assembly

Wheels are turning... ;) :)

So I went back through Google photos to review photos around the time that the husband got me an additional wet side. And I am actually crazy. What I thought was a second MP40 is not a second MP40 lol. It just tricked me in the first photo I saw. :upside-down-face:

So now I have to decide:

Do I buy a 2nd mp40? Do I use one of the RB powerheads I found? Do I use both of the RB powerheads I found and pop the 40 on the tail end of the peninsula?

My original plan was to run 2 40s on the back side against the wall where the return pumps out, then put a gyre on the opposite end :thinking-face:

could still do that with the RB powerheads I suppose. eventually get an MP60?

Yeah, I'm not too worried about the wires showing on the back side since it's black it'll blend in decently. I am a little meh about the dry side sticking out on the peninsula end though to be honest.

think you put it in a build page? or reading your build page from around then may jog some mamories loose?
Let's not be jogging mamories. Mods may flag them.

Calculator says my 1 mp40 should still be enough for lps anyway. I'm sure I'll get some dead spots in this size so I'll probably add a gyre to the opposite end either way.

Basically what I've done and I'm looking at the gyre option on the far end still. I have 2 pumps like where you described, and it does create enough flow for softies, but I'm adding more SPS to the top rocks and need moar still.
