No. All that a second chamber does is potentially use up some excess co2, if you have any that leaves your reactor. It is not recirculating, so the efficiency is really low. If you have no excess co2 leaving your reactor, then a second chamber does nothing and the tank pH will barely be impacted by having the CaRx.

Here’s my set up... GEO CR612, GEO SMC415, Watson Marlow 505U, 5# CO2 tank and a DIY regulator. My favorite piece of my set up is the Alanle style full stainless Victor SGT 160B dual stage regulator that I built myself.

Where did you find the stainless steel Victor SGT 160B dual stage regulator from? Do these parts work with any regulator?

Everything is sourced through eBay. Yes, the parts are interchangeable with other regulators. Although a long read, check out the big Alanle DIY regulator thread on RC. I read it a few times before attempting my builds. I’ve built a couple of regulators now and once you start, it’s become easy to see how the parts come together.

I read some of that and cant seem to find the parts anywhere for close to the prices mentioned. Do you have any links to any of the parts you purchased?

Prices have definitely gone up on many of the parts since that thread was started. You need to be patient yetready to pounce when opportunities arise. When the seller lets you submit a best offer, see what you can get. Someone over on RC scored at $120 metering valve for $50 because there was an offer option.
