I'm fed up with NItrates being a constant issue and looked into sulfur reactors
I have a C tech or (aqua ready) TS 2 calcuium reactor.

I have the feed planed for it. My question is what do i do with the CO2 off gas line? Should i put a needle valve on it, leave it half open and hang it over the sump so it acts as an off gas line? Do i close it off completely or recirculate it to the main feed line ?
Other than that I know I'll need some ARM to buffer the PH drop.

I ran a sulfer reactor for over a year. I used no reserculating pump and just pulled through it with a Kamoer pump.
I stopped because night time ph was low 7.6. I run kalk with my carx now and low ph is now 8.0.
I control no3 with vodka. 8ml a day gives me no3 at 4-6.

Did you ever get this figured out?
Yes I just did kind of a hybrid system

The main line went into the tank and the other line part of the CO2 system I looped it back with a ball valve into a T before my 200CC flow restrictor feeding off the return pump to the reactor. 200CC keeps it at around a toms aqualifter . I keep the CO2 ball valve closed as its more of an emegency flush than anything.

Reactor has been running for 2 weeks now . I'm past the NO2 spike and its back to 0 and waiting for the NO3 to start reducing . Currently dripping about 1.5 /sec into the skimmer chamber now that my NO2 is zero . PH is around 7.5 while tank is holding at around 8.1
