Placed the corals I got this week in their spots and picked up an adorable scooter blenny and fire fish at my local fish store. Sorry the fire fish picture is kind of fuzzy their is a film on the acclimation box.

ENYA!

I always just get this for YouTube videos on the app and pressing on it doesn't take me to YouTube or anything ☹️

Finally got around to replacing my glass lids with light diffuser panels and i have already had a slight increase in PH. I have also been dosing magnesium and have ordered some calcium to help get those levels up. Yesterday I moved a toadstool leather to a spot with more light in hopes it will start growing better. I've had it in a low light area and have yet to see it's polyps fully extended. I added a beautiful pearly jawfish and a small sixline wrasse sadly the jawfish didn't make it but the little wrasse seems to be doing well.

Yesterday I added the cutest little purple tang to my setup which is a fish that has been on my wish list since I setup my tank two years ago. Today I added a Sicce 13 watt UV-C to the sump it is submerged in the first chamber and the hose puts the water into the middle chamber after it runs through it. I also have a brine shrimp hatchery that is supposed to be arriving tomorrow so I can not only have a steady supply of them for my mandarin goby to go with the copepods but also hatch some for all of my tanks.

Not much to say about it yet other than this is my first saltwater tank after keeping freshwater for around 20 years or so. It's a 125 gallon with a 50 gallon sump. I'm buying it used and the picture is one of what it looks like currently while it's still set up at my friend's place that I'm buying it from. I plan on doing a mixed reef tank with easy to keep inhabitants.

I also have my first saltwater tank with a diy sump I put together from an old freshwater 50 gallon Cichlid tank. It is a 6 ft tank and just finished its cycle. Dropping in coral and cleanup crew from a 50 gallon canister filter run reef tank, my first saltwater adventure.

I really like your rock work! You should make a build thread!

Thank you, I actually had to break down my original scheme and do a rebuild after consulting with a reef expert. once I had the concept of tabling, I went in and tore it all down right after it finished cycling, rebuilt it on a pop-up table next to the tank, drilled in a few pins, I left a lot of of the old pins with the main idea that coral would be covering it all up and I am really satisfied with the way it came out thank you. It was a lot of work, but very enjoyable.

This week I lost the mandarin I think due to an accidental sting from my Foxface when it got startled by the mandarin when it went into the small cave the mandarin was in. I also stated hatching brine shrimp to feed my fish in an amazing little hatchery from BRS that worked great. Today I also set up an extra 5 gallon I had to try to grow some to adult size for my fish to eat. I added a pinch of spirulina powder and a little bit of phyto since I read they eat both these.

Sorry about your mandarin Amanda. Congratulations on your new tank! I kinda lost count of how many tanks you have, including that one, 26?
